Fall Camps and Clinics
The NRV Tigers are excited to offer a robust lineup of camps and clinics. Each clinic will meet once weekly for six weeks. Each program will be lead by our highly qualified staff with the purpose of helping our players grow their skillset. Camps will begin at the end of the fall season.
Youth Catching
This camp will help develop your skills in every aspect of catching. We'll focus on throwing footwork, blocking, and receiving while mixing in drills to sharpen every aspect of your game behind the plate. This camp is led by former Virginia Tech catcher Andrew Webb.
Ages 12 & under
Mondays 8:30-9:30 p.m.

Youth Pitching
With a focus on mechanics, increasing velocity, and better command, our youth pitching clinic will help develop your pitching skills. This camp is led by former Radford pitcher Clay Clatterbaugh.
Ages 14 & under
Wednesdays 8:30-9:30

Youth Hitting
Take advantage of the fall season to dial in your swing. We'll assess and correct your swing mechanics to give you personalized drills to take you to the next level. This camp is led by former Anderson University player Rick Peters.
Ages 12 & under
Tuesdays 8:30-9:30 p.m.

Pitching - Middle/High School
This program is designed to help players improve their technique, pitch-shaping, pitch-sequencing and overall on-mound mentality. This camp is led by former CHS Head Coach, and Averett University pitcher, Dale Nelson.
Coach Nelson's résumé includes:
- Head Varsity Baseball Coach Christiansburg HS (2014-2024)
- 6 District Championships
- 1st state appearance.
- Blue Demons won 130 games from 2015-2024
- 32 players signed to play in college
- Class of 2020 pitcher Brady Kirtner is currently pitching in the NY Yankees organization.
- Current Assistant coach at Auburn HS
- State Champion (2025)
- Assistant for the West All Star Team in Commonwealth Games
- Pitched at Averett University
- Drafted in 2003 by the Kalamazoo Kings of the Frontier League
